“Unanimously, with 94 votes in favor, it is granted to allow entry to the national territory of 155 elements of the Marine Infantry forces of the North Command of the US Army, to participate in the ‘Anfibio Bilateral Exercise Fénix 2025’,” said the Senate of Mexico in his account of X.
Senator Manuel Huerta, from Morena, said that this exercise will not only strengthen the training of national elements, but also coordination between both forces.
“It is very important that it be carried out in this way, as promoting the head of the Federal Executive, since it reinforces our country’s commitment to respect for the rule of law and projects an image of responsibility to the international community,” he said.
The event ‘Bilateral Exercise Anfibio Phoenix 2025’ will take place on the island of Santa Margarita, Baja California Sur, and will take place from March 24 to April 23 in three phases: from March 24 to April 1, from April 7 to 23 and from April 21 to 23.
