Eight out of 10 Mexicans, 81%, approve the management of President Claudia Sheinbaum, seven months after the start of her management, according to the monthly survey of the newspaper El Financiero.
This level of approval of March is two points less than March, when it reached 83%, and moves away from the highest acceptance it reached in February, when it obtained 85%, the highest record in the last 30 years in this study.
The president, who came to power on October 1, also raised her level of disapproval that reached 18%, which exceeded 15% that had obtained the previous three months, according to the survey, made by telephone to 1,100 adults from 3 to 7 and April 24 to 28.
The best evaluated aspects are social support with 83% favorable opinion, the economy, with 74% approval and 20% reprobation, public safety, with 57% of positive valuations and 37% negative.
While in corruption management 39% had a favorable opinion in their performance and 52% had a negative opinion.
Its worse qualified items are the fight against organized crime, with 69% of unfavorable opinions and 27% favorable, and the fight against corruption, with a 60% approval and a 29% disapproval.

Sheinbaum achieves approval of 81% after seven months of government
The survey was conducted in the middle of the uncertainty for the imposition of tariffs of the president of the United States, Donald Trump and the tensions between both governments and, for the first time so far this year, the proportion of people described as favorable the relationship between both leaders.
50% of respondents described the relationship with Trump as “good or very good”, while 37% sees it as “bad or very bad”, contrary to the previous two months where more people saw a bad relationship.
Regarding the ads that the United States government put on the air in various media in Mexico on the issue of migration, the survey reveals that 45 % of the people interviewed said they had seen them.
However, 64% of people said they should be prohibited and 28% that should be allowed.
