President Claudia Sheinbaum met this Tuesday with the president of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Ilan Goldfajn, to analyze the country’s economic and financial outlook.
“We received Ilan Goldfajn, president of the Inter-American Development Bank, and directors of the institution at the National Palace; We talked about plans for Mexico, which has a promising present and future,” Sheinbaum noted in a brief message on X.
The president shared a couple of photographs of the meeting, where she is seen with Goldfajn and other officials, including the Secretary of the Treasury, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, and the head of the Office of the Presidency, Lázaro Cárdenas Batel.
The meeting occurs moments after Goldfajn held a meeting with the Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, where they agreed to advance a joint agenda to promote the country’s economic development and strengthen the investment relocation strategy.
