President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed Monday that unknown subjects hacked her mobile phone and her personal email account after delivering 29 drug traffickers to the United States, on February 27, as The New York Times reported.

“They hacked my phone and my email account. Apple immediately called the Digital Transformation Agency (of the Government). Properly, they realized the hacking, the digital transformation agency took letters in the matter and very quickly reviewed it, ”said the president at her morning conference.

Sheinbaum recognized the report of the New York newspaper, which on Friday published that “shortly after the delivery” of the criminals to the United States, “Sheinbaum’s cell phone was hacked, according to several people familiar with the matter,” although she clarified that they still do not know those responsible.
