The recovery of Mexican aviation is not a whim, but a strategic decision, President Claudia Sheinbaum said, according to a note from the Quadratín news agency.
“Recovering Mexican aviation is not an ideological whim, but a strategic decision, air transport is vital for defense, emergency, national logistics and also for the transport of people,” he said.
The president participated in the ceremony of the arrival of the first E195-E2 Mexican E195-E2 aircraft to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).
He recalled that recovering the firm was a decision by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador “to raise the dignity of the people of Mexico.”
Sheinbaum pointed out that the objective is to connect and its social impact, now with the distinction of national defense.
