Sheinbaum Pardo said that so far does not have the complete information about the case, which was revealed by the Department of Justice.

During her morning conference, the president added that the two indicated resided in the United States, where one of them was already arrested, while the other is still a fugitive.

“It is worth talking about the fugitive businessman because he is a PAN militant and was a candidate for the Government of Campeche; he was accused of other cases of corruption and is now sought by the United States government,” he said.

The Department of Justice reported that Ramón Alexandro Rovirosa Martínez, 46, and Mario Alberto Ávila Lizarraga, 61, along with others, allegedly conspired to pay at least 150 thousand dollars in bribes to PEMEX officials and his Pemex Exploration and Production Unit (PEP), in order to obtain and retain businesses for companies associated with Rovirosa.
