President Claudia Sheinbaum highlighted at the 2026 World Cup draw ceremony that the game of ball has been enjoyed in Mexico since ancient times, according to a report by Quadratin.
“We are proud, proud, to host the World Cup for the third time, Mexico is an extraordinary, beautiful, magical country, and millions will visit our nation,” he expressed in a dialogue with the FIFA president.
“We have an extraordinary, hard-working people, and something special: we have enjoyed the game of ball since ancient times,” he declared.
