Sheinbaum met at the National Palace with the Advisory Council for Regional Economic Development and Relocation (CADERR) to address the Mexico Plan, which he will present next Monday.
The president did not detail the meeting, which she reported through the social network X.
The CADERR, made up of 15 businessmen and coordinated by Altagracia Gómez Sierra, is linked to the Business Coordinating Council and other private sector chambers.
Earlier this Thursday, Sheinbaum announced that on Monday he will present a joint strategy with the private sector to attract investments to the country before the arrival of the future president of the United States, Donald Trump.
“Evidently, whenever there is a change of Government, and I say this essentially for the United States, (the question of) what investors expect to invest always arises, but on Monday we have the presentation of the ‘Mexico Plan’, which already has a portfolio of very important investments,” he declared.

Sheinbaum announced that the plan includes “incentives for private investment in welfare centers,” which are priority regions for locating industries, “and a very clear outline” of how the Business Council, which brings together leaders from the sector, will advance. private sector that will support the Government.
Sheinbaum and the country’s main business chambers presented this Business Council in November as a united front to combat the warnings of Trump, who has warned of the imposition of 25% tariffs on Mexican products if that country does not stop the “invasion” of migrants and drugs, particularly fentanyl.
“So, the Mexico plan is presented and there are many private investments that are also pending for this year,” the president commented this Thursday.
Despite the situation, the president insisted that “there will be a good relationship” with the United States because she does not see “why there could be a bad relationship,” in addition to believing “that President Trump has his way of communicating.”
