President Claudia Sheinbaum reported that on Tuesday she had a phone call with her American counterpart, Donald Trump, who left G7 yesterday for the conflict between Iran and Israel and therefore, could no longer hold a meeting with the Mexican president.
“I had a very good telephone conversation with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, who informed me that yesterday he came out of emergency for the situation in the Middle East. We agreed to work together to get to an agreement soon on various issues that today concern us,” Sheinbaum posted on his social networks.
Sheinbaum was scheduled to meet this Tuesday in the framework of the G7 with Trump to address various bilateral issues, such as migration and tariffs, however, the White House night reported that the US president would return to Washington DC on Monday.
Sheinbaum was going to deal with the issue of migrants with Trump, he even advanced the weekend that he would communicate to the American that the undocumented are not criminals.
