It is time to seek shared prosperity in Mexico, but entrepreneurs, including those in the automotive industry, must contribute, said Altagracia Gómez, appointed by President Claudia Sheinbaum as Coordinator of the Business Advisory Council of the Mexican government.
Altagracia Gómez said that she has 3 companies that participate in the automotive industry, which allows her to recognize the value of that sector.
“It is something close to me, and it is something that I recognize, the wealth it generates and the social and economic profitability it generates,” he expressed at the XXII International Congress of the Automotive Industry.

However, who said that in a few weeks she will be officially coordinator of the Business Council of the federal administration, defended that the government cannot do everything, and that the participation of all companies is required to achieve prosperity.
“What do you commit to? Because the government is not there to solve everything. And it cannot solve everything, too,” he said.
Since December, he added, and especially entering the transition, there has been talk to define what is up to micro, small and medium-sized companies, automotive companies and each ministry.
And the interests are not petty, he pointed out.
“They are interests that have a long-term vision of the country. A country with shared prosperity; I think it is a laudable goal, and it is a goal to which you have a lot to contribute,” said Gómez.
Francisco González, president of the National Auto Parts Industry, the organizing group of the congress, explained that for months they have held close conversations with Altagracia Gómez, from whom the sector has received great willingness to reach agreements to boost the auto parts industry and the economy. .
“We have started the dialogue with Altragracia Gómez since June, we presented a series of proposals that are grouped in the Automotive Industry Dialogues, and we have delved into points that she found notable, such as sustainability and gender, and also the fiscal part. “She wants to be fed back, and we are doing very well,” he declared.
Advances can pick up speed, González said.
