You take on the role of a magician named Ben, who sets out on a quest to rescue his brother Jarl, who has been captured by evil forces. Though you will mostly be dodging your way through the game, you have access to a limited number of damaging spells to take on enemies directly, and it’s a surprisingly varied platformer, given the relatively basic concept.
It features more than 20 full levels and you’ll be taking on a lot of different bosses throughout your journey, all of which come with their own unique sets of powers and abilities to be aware of. At the same time, the lovely pixel graphics make it really clear what’s going on, and if you like grinding through really tough games, then you really can’t go wrong with this free pick.
