The majority of Americans support to sanction Russia’s business partners as a way to press Moscow to put an end to their war in Ukraine, according to a Reuters survey.

Russia launched its large -scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, triggering the greatest conflict in Europe since World War II. More than one million people have died or results in both sides, including thousands of civilians, mostly Ukrainians, according to analysts.

Trump, who according to reports has expressed his desire to obtain a Nobel Peace Prize, has already imposed secondary sanctions in the form of a 25% tariff against India for continuing to buy Russian oil, the main source of financing of the Kremlin in the war against Ukraine.
