A restored 1901 townhouse and a new build townhouse topped Brooklyn’s luxury market last week.

In total, the borough saw 19 contracts — nine condos, one co-op and nine houses — with a total asking volume of $54 million signed on homes asking at least $2 million from Sept. 15 to Sept. 21, according to Compass’ weekly report.

The previous week saw 19 such contracts with a total asking volume of $55 million.  During the same week last year, 21 luxury contracts were signed in the borough for $59 million.

The top contract last week went to a historic Park Slope townhouse at 448 Sixth Street asking $6.5 million.

The seller, tech entrepreneur Mark Jung, bought the home in 2023 for $4.9 million and undertook an extensive renovation of roughly 3,500-square-foot space.

The five-bedroom home comes with 1,200 square feet of outdoor space, including landscaped back and rooftop gardens.

The parlor level features an antique marble mantelpiece from the Plaza Hotel in the front; the back has a pair of sliding glass doors that open to a balcony overlooking a double-height glass-enclosed solarium overlooking the south garden.

The fourth floor primary suite comes with a gas fireplace and bay reading nook, a walk-through closet and a renovated bathroom with a double vanity sink and rain shower.

Sotheby’s International Realty’s Roberta Golubock had the listing.

The second priciest listing went to a new townhouse in Williamsburg at 196 Withers Street asking $3.75 million.

The 2,850-square-foot home comes with four beds and three full baths and features a hand-crafted red-brick facade and oversized casement windows with black steel frames.

The primary suite features a dressing room and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, separate toilet room and double sink. A fully finished roof deck tops the building.

Corcoran’s Deborah Rieders, Sarah Shuken and Angelina Celeste Martinez had the listing.

Luxury homes in the borough entering contract last week had an average price per square foot of $1,578 and a median asking price of $2.5 million.
