Televisa shares rise 13.82%

Televisa shares rose 13.82% during trading this Tuesday, according to information from the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).

The advance occurred after the fall that the company registered after its poor performance in the second quarter and the request for leave of the president of the board of directors, Emilio Azcárraga Jean.

The BMV indicated that on the day the group recorded a sales volume of 20,531 papers at a price of 9.83 pesos per share, while the purchase volume was 26,716 units. The total volume operated was 3,635,210.

Meanwhile, the BMV closed operations with a loss of 1.25% at 51,166.29 points.
