The agents are coming

The adoption of AI agents, working hand-in-hand with humans, is expected to increase by 327% in the next 2 years, generating a 30% gain in productivity. This was revealed by a new report from Salesforce, the “Global AI Readiness Index” along with a complementary survey on upskilling in AI. It also maintains that Argentina, Brazil and Mexico are in the initial stages of preparation for agentic artificial intelligence (AI), with significant challenges in adoption, innovation, investment and human capital development. The findings underline an urgent need for coordinated strategies between various societal actors and greater investment so that the region is not left behind in the global AI race. Countries able to harness its potential will be better prepared to lead this next wave of digital transformation.

Meta launched new AI functions in its Business Suite to optimize advertising campaigns and strengthen alliances with content creators, through intelligent assistants that recommend budgets and creative variants in real time, and with a simpler account structure to avoid fragmentation. These improvements, driven by pressure from advertisers demanding better performance, promise to reduce manual work by up to 40% and allow machine learning to act on larger data sets. In a context of strong competition with TikTok and Google, Meta seeks to ensure that both brands and influencers connect more efficiently and for companies to allocate their budgets more accurately.

Improve Nano Banana

Within the framework of the launch of Gemini 3, its most powerful Artificial Intelligence model to date, Google announced two new features about its AI model for image editing: the incorporation of Nano Banana in the Search Engine through Google Lens and AI Mode. The launch of Nano Banana Pro, the “pro-level” version of the model, was designed to offer maximum quality in your images, advanced control and visuals ready to publish without spending hours editing.

Among the improvements presented, users can now use layer editing to retouch specific areas, combine up to 14 elements in a single image, adjust camera angles, change focus and even transform the lighting of an image (for example, from day to night). In this way, Google competes directly with ChatGPT, from OpenAI, for the first place in the market for AI models for images.

Change accelerates

IDC’s global research for Deel shows workplace change accelerated by AI: two in three organizations plan to hire fewer junior staff, while nine in ten already see roles transformed or outright eliminated, with Argentina among the countries with the highest displacement. This disruption widens the skills gap, but also drives action: 67% of companies already invest in AI training to reconvert roles and prepare their teams. The report, based on 5,500 leaders from 22 countries, highlights that companies that redesign jobs and focus on human development will be the ones that best adapt to the new scenario driven by artificial intelligence.

AI goes to the museum

The Interactive Museum of Economics in Mexico City (MIDE) reopened with a renewed commitment: to teach Economics in a clear and attractive way through Can-X, a robotic dog that welcomes visitors and explains concepts such as inflation, supply and demand or monetary policy in simple language. After five months of remodeling, MIDE seeks to bring young people and adults closer to a more conscious relationship with money, in a country where ignorance, savings, debt and uncertainty coexist. According to its director, Silvia Singer, the new experience aims to help everyone better understand the financial decisions they make daily.
