President Claudia Sheinbaum presented this Monday Plan Mexico, a strategy for equitable and sustainable economic development, with which her government seeks a more competitive and prosperous country.

- Expand access to upper secondary and higher education and its link with the development plan.
- Strengthen scientific, technological development and innovation.
- Promotion of the integration of the continent.
- Be in the top 10 economies.
- Increase the proportion of investment to GDP.
- 1.5 million additional jobs in specialized manufacturing and strategic sectors.
- 50% of national supplies and consumption will be made in Mexico in strategic sectors.
- Grow 15% of national content in global value chains in the sectors: automotive, aerospace, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, among others. They will be of national production.
- Public purchases will be a development tool.
- Vaccines made in Mexico.
- The total time to complete an investment will be reduced from 2.6 to 1 year.
- 150 thousand professionals and technicians annually with continuous training aligned to strategic sectors and 100% dual education in technical high school.
