EFE.- Pope Francis rejected bullying in schools this Saturday during an audience with several Italian associations of teachers, educators and Catholic parents, urging them to work against bullying.

He also encouraged students to transmit “a new culture based on the encounter between generations” and “personal and collective responsibility to face global challenges such as environmental, social and economic crises.”

In turn, he asked them to lay “the foundations of a more just and fraternal world, with the contribution of all disciplines and with the creativity of children and young people.”

“But if at school you wage war among yourselves, if you engage in ‘bullying’ with the girls and boys who have a problem, this is preparing for war, not for peace,” warned Francisco, who urged them to “never do “bullying.”

The pontiff also regretted that there are children without education, “who go to work, often exploited, and who look for food or things to sell among the waste.”

On the other hand, Francisco vindicated pedagogy close to God, as “a project in which the family has a central and irreplaceable place.”

Just this week, the Pope warned of an “educational catastrophe” worldwide, assured that up to 250 million children are without access to education and dedicated his prayer intentions for January to the right to education of migrants, refugees and affected people. for the wars.
