The government of President Donald Trump presented on Friday a resource before the Supreme to allow him to dismantle the Department of Education, after a judge in lesser instance blocked the mass layoffs of this cabinet.
In a document, administration lawyers argued that the federal judge’s ruling prohibits the government from “dismissed any person.”
A judge in Boston failed in May in favor of a lawsuit filed by a coalition of 21 states of Democratic governments, the American Federation of Masters and two school districts of Massachusetts, who asked to stop the decree with which Trump ordered to end the Department of Education.
The decision temporarily prevents this executive order and the appeal that the Government presented with the Supreme Court asks to cancel this ruling.
