Mexico City, (EFE) .- Security Forces arrested María del Rosario ‘N’ on Monday, alleged operator of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), who had an arrest warrant issued by the Federal Court of the Western District of Texas, in the United States, for charges of arms trafficking, drugs and people.
The action occurred in a joint operation, by elements of the Ministry of Citizen Security and Protection (SSPC), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the National Guard, according to the authorities in a statement.
The result was also part of an exchange of information with the alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives (ATF) and the United States Federal Research Bureau (FBI), which allowed to identify the domicile of the suspect by tests through fixed, mobile and discreet surveillances.

The statement said that a control judge granted the search order to intervene the property. In the search, in addition to the woman, a man was arrested and two firearms, dose of narcotics and telecommunication equipment were secured.
This joint operation adds to the national security strategy promoted by Mexico to dismantle transnational organized crime networks in a coordinated manner with US agencies such as ATF and FBI.
Apart, in his social networks, the head of the SSPC, Omar García Harfuch, explained that María del Rosario ‘N’ was an operator of the CJNG.
“It was sought by US authorities (…) for arms trafficking, drugs and people, money laundering and distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl through our borders,” he added.
