A group of representatives of 25 state governments, federal authorities and leaders of the business sector asked the government of Claudia Sheinbaum plus financial standards and instruments to continue with the decarbonization of cargo transport and passengers in Mexico.
“It is not enough to act at the local level, since we need a national scaffolding that supports territorial action through financial norms and instruments,” said Ricardo Serrano Rangel, president of the Mexican Association of Mobility Authorities (AMAM).
“We talk about a national policy that requires articulation, co -responsibility and will from all levels of government and from all fronts of society: private initiative, academia and the social organizations sector,” said the general coordinator of Mobility of Aguascalientes.
“Mobility is today the backbone of social welfare,” said the official in the thirty -second edition of the National Meeting of Mobility Authorities (Amail).
