Mexico City, (EFE) .- Agents of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), in coordination with the Mexico Safety Cabinet, seized infrastructure that was used for the illegal storage of hydrocarbons and almost 500 kilograms of methamphetamines in Tabasco and Jalisco.
In Tabasco, two properties allegedly used for illegal hydrocarbon storage were secured, according to information disseminated by the head of the Secretariat of Citizen Security and Protection (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch.
In these two sites, more than 880,000 liters of fuels were found, as well as seven vehicles, two forklifts and more than 1,000 containers with hydrocarbon.
The finding was carried out as part of the actions against fuel theft, also known as ‘huachicoleo’.
In a second operation, carried out in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, in Jalisco, the confiscation of 480 kilos of methamphetamine that were hidden in compartments adapted within the structure of load vehicles was achieved.
In the disseminated images, FGR personnel and the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) are observed in the insurance place, as well as the packages with the synthetic drug.
Both operations reflect the federal government approach in the fight against finance of organized crime, attacking both the transfer of narcotics and illicit activities related to energy.

Only last Sunday, the government security cabinet presented the results of a joint operation that dismantled one of the main criminal organizations dedicated to the robbery and illicit commercialization of hydrocarbons in the central region of the country.
The operation, the authorities detailed, consisted of simultaneous actions in Mexico City, State of Mexico and Querétaro.
Among the results, the authorities arrested 32 detainees and secured 12 properties used as criminal operation centers, 21 tractocamions, 14 semi -trailers, 14 tank type containers, eight pipes, 48 vehicles, a bus, twelve motorcycles, 36 firearms, as well as a warehouse with drugs and controlled medications.
