The employer and labor sector assured that the Government of Mexico has not contributed a single weight from its foundation to Infonavit and now intends Outsourcing that was prohibited in the administration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador).
“The filial company will operate without being subject to the supervision of the Infonavit, despite handling resources from the right -wing workers for the construction of housing,” said Juan José Sierra Álvarez, president of the employer Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex).
The businessman recalled that the infonavit subsidiary company will have the power to hire other moral people “with the same corporate purpose, which contradicts the reform of labor subcontracting.”
Former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador prohibited subcontracting, known as outsourcing for being a scheme used to evade and avoid the payment of taxes and employer benefits.
“In almost 53 years of the Infonavit Foundation, the Government has not contributed a single weight to generate the body’s assets. The weights are contributed by companies and are workers’ resources, ”said Coparmex president.
“We propose that the heritage of this subsidiary company is part of the institute, since it is resources of the right -holding workers and that it operates under the same controls and supervision as the institute,” he said.
The manager added that it is essential to clearly define the fiscal and legal regime of Infonavit, as well as its shareholding.
“The social statutes must be approved by both the Board of Directors and the General Assembly. Likewise, the members of the Board of Directors must be ratified by the General Assembly and formed in a tripartite and joint manner. These modifications will contribute to strengthening transparency in the operation of the filial construction company, ”said the manager.
Rodolfo González Guzmán, Secretary of the Regional Mexican Confederation (CROM), announced that more than 3 million workers will go out and complaints before the International Labor Organization and the National Human Rights Commission to curb the Constitutional Reform of Infonavit for affecting workers’ resources.
“We recognize that, in the discussion of the reform of the Infonavit Law, changes have been made regarding the initial proposal, such as the incorporation of the decision -making principle in a tripartite way,” he said.
The modifications did not attend all our proposals, which are intended to strengthen the institute, said the business leader.
Before the discussion in the Congress of the Union of the Infonavit reform, he added, the organizations of workers and entrepreneurs request a direct dialogue with the president of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum.
“In response, we were received by the Secretary of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez; The legal counselor, Ernestina Godoy, and the general director of Infonavit, Octavio Romero Oropeza. In this meeting, irreducible points were agreed that would be modified in the final opinion in the Chamber of Deputies, ”he explained.
On February 1, the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies approved the reforms without incorporating these agreed changes, he mentioned.
“We consider that the approved reforms do not contribute to strengthening an emblematic institution of more than 50 years, which has guaranteed access to the housing of millions of workers whose resources come from the contributions of employers,” said the secretary of the Regional Confederation of the Regional Confederation of the Regional Confederation Mexican
For his part, Eduardo Ramirez Leal, vice president in the National Confederation of Industrial Chambers (Concamin), said that with the Infonavit reform will have a bag of 54 billion pesos annually to build 80 thousand homes in Mexico.
“The infonavit subsidiary company will be responsible for building each of the homes, but they will do so through the outsourcing of construction companies and other companies. The expense of money on the construction of the homes by the filial company has not been explained in the Infonavit reform, ”he added.
