Members of the Peace Search Motor Shook reported on Thursday the discovery of 35 clandestine graves where there is more than 50 victims of disappearance, in a clandestine cemetery of organized crime next to a neighborhood road to the coast of Hermosillo, Sonora

Cecilia Delgado Grijalva, founder of search engine for La Paz, who already found the remains of her son Jesús Ramón, but now she is looking for a missing nephew, Moisés Alfonso Reynoso, explained that the collective received several anonymous messages that oriented them towards a clandestine cemetery .

“It was for an anonymous call (which) had already indicated us from this place, but they told us it was later and we found later. They told us that it was a clandestine pantheon, and it is, because until now we have 35 graves and we know that many more will come out, ”Delgado revealed.

The 35 graves were found by the activists on Highway 26 that connects to Hermosillo with Kino Bay, on the bed of a stream at kilometer 20.

“There is the soft place so that they can make their graves, and here nobody sees them and if they see them nobody tells them anything,” said Delgado.

Searches also joined the members of the Guerreras Searching for Guaymas and Empalme collective, as a sample of sorority.

A year ago, in January 2024, there was another finding very close to this clandestine cemetery, in the El Choyudo graves, where they located 53 bodies and all the victims were originally from the Guaymas Valley.

“We ask the criminals to leave us the exposed bodies,” Synthia Maritza Gutiérrez, who is looking for his son Gustavo Ángel Godínez, disappeared on June 30, 2017 in Guaymas.

“It is what we ask these people. Know that as mothers it is very painful and we call them to be exposed to us. Already with their life they paid, to leave them to be able to return home, ”added the mother seeking.

Since Tuesday, January 28, the finding occurred, the area has been inspected by experts of the Forensic Scientific Intelligence Laboratory of the Prosecutor’s Office, personnel of the State Commission for the Search of Missing Persons.

As well as by National Guard agents, Ministerial Agency for Criminal Investigation, together with dozens of women who integrate the groups, who support the authorities to remove and identify the bodies.

The Attorney General in Sonora, Gustavo Rómulo Salas Chávez, confirmed the finding and reported that processing the crime scene to get the human remains will have been several weeks, and that it will be with evidence of genetic comparison, how identity and number will be determined of victims
