The police of the German “Land” of Brandenburg are investigating whether some activists projected this Wednesday on the Tesla gigafactory in Grünheide, east of Berlin, an image of the magnate Elon Musk and his controversial gesture during the inauguration of the American president Donald Trump and which was interpreted as the fascist salute.

The German activist collective Center for Political Beauty, known for its controversial actions, published a video on its social networks last night showing Musk’s image projected on the factory façade.

Above Musk’s photo is also the word “Heil” (a Nazi salute that can be translated as “hail”), which creates the impression of completing the Tesla sign to form the message “Heil Tesla.”

“Buy a Tesla and support the commercial arm of fascism. As a society, we will push this extended arm to the ground together,” the group wrote in the publication.

In other videos, a video is projected on the façade that illustrates in images Musk’s support for the extreme right, including the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, accompanied by the message: “Whoever buys Tesla supports the extreme right.”
