Federal and state security forces secured 4,700 liters of liquid methamphetamine and 269 kilos of solid methamphetamine in three homes, in a joint operation in Sinaloa, to record the greatest confiscation of this substance so far from the government of President Claudia Sheinbaum.
The operation was carried out in the town of Ayuba, in the municipality of Culiacán, cradle of the Sinaloa and demarcation cartel whipped by violence.
Authorities identified three properties used for the manufacture and distribution of synthetic drugs.
The security forces entered simultaneously to the properties, where they located 4,700 liters of liquid methamphetamine and the 269 kilos of the drug in solid state.
They sealed the three properties and put the illegal substances available to the Public Ministry for protecting and subsequent analysis.
In a statement, the Ministry of Citizen Security and Protection (SSPC) indicated that the confiscation avoided the distribution of 4.9 tons of methamphetamine, which, according to official calculations, equals 4.9 million doses and an economic affectation of 1,462 million pesos for criminal organizations.

“This assurance is the largest registered in the current administration. With these actions, security cabinet institutions endorse their commitment to work in a coordinated manner to build peace in the state of Sinaloa, ”SSPC sources said.
The operation is part of the National Security Strategy promoted by the Government to combat drug trafficking and organized crime in the country and especially in Sinaloa, being one of the entities with the greatest presence of criminal groups dedicated to production and Export of synthetic narcotics to the United States and other regions.
Since the beginning of the six -year period, the authorities have increased synthetic drug insurance in the country, with special attention in clandestine laboratories located in northwest states.
On February 6, President Donald Trump announced that he would postpone the application of a 25% tariff that had announced all the products of Canada and Mexico, after an agreement with both countries to reinforce border control and stop the Fentanyl traffic and the arrival of migrants.
The operation participated in the Sedena, Marina, Prosecutor General of the Republic, National Guard and the SSPC, in coordination with the Attorney General of Sinaloa and the Secretariat of State Public Security.
