To encourage tourism, Acapulco will offer concerts in November and December, among which shows by Luis Miguel and Natanael Cano stand out, the federal government reported.
On November 16 and 17, “El Sol de México” will offer concerts at the Acapulco Arena to conclude his world tour, while the corridos tumbados singer will perform in December, the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) reported.
“Acapulco belongs to Luis Miguel and the Mexicans. It is a historic port and there will be more artistic and sporting events at the end of the year,” commented Julio Fernández García, Marketing Director of Grupo Mundo Imperial.
The businessman pointed out that the economic recovery of the Port must be ensured, which was affected by the damage caused by Hurricane Otis in October 2023.
He added that authorities and businessmen seek to “move” tourism and thus benefit restaurateurs, clubs, artisans and the population in general.

Alfonso Barboza, representative of Gojo Live, commented that the organization of cultural events also benefits citizens regarding their morale.
In this sense, Lesli García Romero, head of the Sectur Innovation office, commented that these announcements are “very nice” because they see Acapulco rise from the blows of two hurricanes.
At the end of September, Hurricane John hit the Guerrero coast.
“Three weeks after Claudia Sheinbaum’s inauguration, we are in Acapulco,” he said.
He added that the cleaning continues in the port and that the roads are 100%, so he invited the population to go to the beaches.
Meanwhile, Simón Quiñones Orozco, Secretary of Tourism of Guerrero, commented that the Miners’ convention will be held in November, along with the oil workers’ meeting, which will take place in June 2025.

“On October 25 we have Diego Torres, the GNP NY Pádel we have it from December 25 to 1, Natanael Cano on December 7, Acapulco Beach Soccer on December 14 and 15, Camila and Gloria Trevi and the spectacular gala of pyrotechnics, we have 28 events,” commented the secretary.
He added that there will be more than 17,000 rooms available for people to come and stay in the Port’s hotels.
“Acapulco is in a rapid recovery process, that is why we invite people to visit us,” said Quiñones.
