Losing kilos, exercising, quitting smoking, or saving are some of the New Year’s resolutions that people usually make… while some are achieved and others are not.
However, if it is about work purposes, such as improving our working conditions, it is important to do everything possible to really achieve that goal, because that is where the income of each family comes from.
Thus, if by 2025 you plan to add to your goals the improvement of your work situation, you can take as a guide what those who managed to improve their conditions at work this year did.

The strategy was shared by the OCC vacancy platform, which released the results of a survey where it asked people if their employment situation improved in 2024.
The results showed that 33% of Mexicans saw their work situation unchanged in 2024, and 30% saw it worse, although 37% responded that their work conditions did improve.
How they improved at work
The 37% of Mexicans who managed to improve their conditions at work in 2024 did so on their own merits.
And according to the responses offered to OCC by those who saw improvements in their employment situation, the success was due to the fact that these workers made an effort.
40% said they improved their skills and competencies. Another 37% said that their employment situation improved because they fulfilled their obligations responsibly; 29% said that their situation improved thanks to training that allowed them to acquire new skills.
27% said it was because of the leadership he showed in front of his team; 25% for the decision to focus on searching and finding a better job opportunity and 24% for the productivity shown.
