The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, held a telephone conversation with the elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, Argentine presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni said on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson on his X social network account, Trump told Milei: “You are my favorite president.”
Previously, the Argentine government reported that it had appointed Alejandro Oxenford, a technology businessman, as the new ambassador to the United States, replacing Gerardo Werthein, who at the end of October was appointed chancellor of the southern country.
