Wall Street’s main indicators rose more than 1.2% in the final minutes of the session after President Donald Trump announced an agreement on Greenland and withdrew his tariff threat against several European countries.

According to provisional data 20 minutes before the stock market closed, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.27%, to 49,104 units; The S&P 500 advanced 1.26% to 6,882 points, and the Nasdaq index gained 1.29% to 23,249 points.

Trump said today at the Davos forum (Switzerland) that he has established “the framework for a future agreement on Greenland” with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and withdrew the threat of tariffs starting February 1 against Europe, after previously signing that he would not use force.
