Washington.- President Donald Trump announced Friday that, as of February 18, it will impose tariffs on oil and gas that Canada and Mexico export to the United States.

Speaking to the press in the Oval Office, Trump said he maintains his intention to apply 25% tariff postpone until February 18 the levies on oil and Canadian and Mexican gas.

Trump recognized this Friday that the costs of tariffs are sometimes transferred to consumers and said their plans to impose them could cause short -term disturbance.

But the Republican President declared journalists in the Oval office that he was not worried about the reaction of financial markets to his plans to impose tariffs from February 1.
