The President of the United States, Donald Trump, declared this Wednesday that he will not allow the payment of dividends or the buyback of shares by American defense companies until they resolve the problems related to the development and production of military equipment.
“Defense companies are not producing our Great Military Equipment fast enough, and once produced, they are not maintaining it properly or fast enough,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
“From this moment on, these executives must build NEW and MODERN production plants, both to deliver and maintain this important equipment, and to manufacture the most modern models of future military equipment,” he added.

This announcement adds to previous statements by the President of the United States in which he insisted on the expensive and slow nature of the defense industry and in which he showed his intention to speed up production.
In addition to that, Trump considered that no executive should earn more than $5 million and recalled that this figure is “a mere fraction” of what these executives actually pocket.
Trump insisted that weapons and military equipment are not being produced with sufficient agility.
