President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he had successfully carried out a “very successful attack” against three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow’s.
In a publication in Truth Social, Trump added: “All airplanes are returning home and savings” and congratulated “our great American warriors.”
Trump concluded his publication by saying: “Now is the moment of peace.”
The action occurred while Israel and Iran have been involved in more than a week of air fighting that have resulted in deaths and injured in both countries.
Israel launched attacks against Iran saying that he wanted to eliminate any possibility that Tehran developed nuclear weapons.
Iran has argued that its nuclear program has peaceful purposes.
The diplomatic efforts of Western nations to stop hostilities had not been successful so far.
