The US president, Donald Trump, agreed on Tuesday with his Mexican counterpart, Claudia Sheinbaum, in which the phone call they held both today was “good.”
White House Sources were limited to confirming that this conversation took place and that it was “good.”
Shortly before, the Mexican president had used that same qualifier to summarize her exchange.
“I had a very good telephone conversation with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, who informed me that yesterday he came out of emergency for the situation in the Middle East. We agreed to work together to get to an agreement soon on various issues that today concern us,” Sheinbaum said in his social networks.

Trump is in Washington to address with his National Security Council the situation between Israel and Iran, while the Mexican leader is in Canada at the G7 summit.
Sheinbaum and Trump were meeting this Tuesday in the framework of that meeting in the Canadian town of Kananaskis, where Mexico went as a guest country, but that appointment was frustrated after the US president left the meeting on Monday on his first day against the war climb in the Middle East.
The planned meeting was the first face to face among the leaders of the two neighboring countries and was framed within the growing bilateral tensions by the tariff war triggered by Washington, as well as the controversy for the raids to migrants and the proposal in the EU Congress to apply a rate of 3.5 % to the remittances sent by migrants without citizenship or permanent residence.
