President Donald Trump opened his long-awaited speech to the nation this Wednesday by attacking immigrants and the political system that preceded him and assured that in a few months “we have gone from the worst to the best,” thanks to his deportations and 11 months that have brought the greatest “positive changes” in history.
“Our country was a source of ridicule around the world, but they are no longer laughing. In the last 11 months we have achieved more positive changes in Washington than any administration in the history of the United States. There has never been anything like it,” Trump said at the start of his achievements speech at the White House.
Trump contrasted his immigration policy with that of the previous administration, which he accused of having “flooded” cities and towns with immigrants in an irregular situation and of having released violent criminals who, he said, put innocent people at risk.
According to the president, his management prioritizes “law-abiding and hard-working” citizens and represents a radical change compared to what he described as years of immigration lack of control.

Without any type of evidence, Trump assured that he has closed the southern border with Mexico and that in seven months no illegal immigrant has entered.
Subsequently, the Republican focused on citing some of the economic achievements of his administration, ensuring that “wages are rising faster than inflation” and that the prices of many services and products have been reduced, mentioning examples such as: “22% on automobiles” and gasoline at $2.50 per gallon.
Trump announces $1,776 bonus for military personnel
The president announced that he will grant 1,450,000 members of the Armed Forces a “special bonus” worth $1,776, a symbolic figure that refers to the year of the country’s founding.
