The president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced Monday that he met with the Intel CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, after asking for his resignation last week for “conflict” of interest.

“I met with Mr. Lip-Bu Tan, from Intel, together with the Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, and the Treasury Secretary, Scott Besent. The meeting was very interesting,” wrote the president in his social Truth network.

The Republican leader stood out from Tan, who assumed the position last March, “his success and ascent”, which said “they are an incredible story.”

And he assured that the maximum executive and the members of his cabinet “will spend time together” and will present “proposals” during the next week.

After Trump’s publication, Intel’s actions rose 2% in electronic operations after the closure of Wall Street.

Last Thursday, the president requested the resignation of the CEO and accused him of “conflict” of interest, a news that made his actions down about 3%.
