The president of the United States, Donald Trump, presumed Tuesday that a brother of Pope Leo XIV is a Republican and said he wants to invite him to the White House.
“I like the Pope and I like his brother. Do you know that his brother, in reality the two, but one in particular, is a big magician fan?” He said in relation to his movement ‘Make America Great Again’.
He said in the halls of Congress: “He is a magician and is with Trump.”
“I’m looking forward to inviting him to the White House. I want to shake hands and give him a big hug,” he continued.
The New York made the same invitation to the Pope himself, as the White House spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, said on the eve.
The Pope, the first of American nationality in history, received the letter with the invitation from the American vice president, JD Vance, who attended the beginning of the Pontificate of Leo XIV on the Vatican on Sunday.
