The president of the United States, Donald Trump, received more than a dozen of the main magnates of artificial intelligence at a dinner at the White House in the failed inauguration of the renewal of one of the main gardens of the government headquarters, with the absence of Elon Musk among the participants.
“I know them all indirectly, some I know them very well,” Trump told the guests at the beginning of dinner at a wide table where each one has a microphone available to take the floor.
Trump sat next to the First Lady, Melania, and on the other side was positioned Mark Zuckerberg, the Meta CEO.

Among the guests is also known that is the co -founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, to the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, as well as another dozen executives of the main referents of the industry.
The most notable absence of the night is that of Elon Musk, Trump’s former official and trusted man, who was invited but in his X account reported that he could not attend and that someone would go in their place.
The dinner was expected to take place at Rose Garden, where Trump paved the grass and installed tables and umbrellas that emulate the outdoor configuration of his mar-a-lago club in Palm Beach, Florida but due to the rain that surprised the capital this afternoon the event was transferred to an inner dining room.
According to the present press, Zuckerberg was the first to take the floor saying that “all companies present are making important investments” to “build data and infrastructure centers to boost the next wave of innovation.”
After a series of compliments between those present and the president, Gates took the floor and thanked “the incredible leadership” of Trump and said that a meeting was important with people who “are changing the world within their scope”.
Dinner occurs after the first lady directed a working meeting of the new Commission for Artificial Intelligence Education of the White House, where Melania said that “robots are already here. Our future is no longer science fiction.”
