The US president, Donald Trump, is alerting countries around the world that they do not attend a United Nations conference next week in New York on a possible solution of two states between Israel and the Palestinians.
A cable, sent on June 10, says that it will consider that countries that take “antiisraeli actions” as part of the conference are opposing the interests of the foreign policy of the United States and could face diplomatic consequences.

He added that Washington would oppose any measure that unilaterally recognizes an eventual Palestinian state.
The US State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
