President Donald Trump said the US forces carried out another attack on a vessel of a Venezuelan cartel that was heading to the United States.
He said that three men died in the attack, adding that the episode occurred in international waters.
“This morning, under my orders, the United States armed forces carried out a second attack against drug traffickers and extraordinarily violent drug traffickers and identified with certainty in the Liability Zone of the Southcom,” Trump said in a publication in Truth Social.

“These extremely violent drug trafficking cartels represent a threat to national security, foreign policy and the vital interests of the United States,” he added.
