President Donald Trump said Friday that the United States and Venezuelan authorities seized an oil tanker that left Venezuela without his approval.
“This tanker is now on its way back to Venezuela, and the oil will be sold through the BIG Energy Deal, which we have created for such sales,” Trump said in a post on the Truth Social network.

U.S. officials previously said the United States seized the oil tanker Olina in the Caribbean, the fifth vessel to be targeted in recent weeks as Washington steps up efforts to curb Venezuelan oil exports.
