Washington (EFE) .- President Donald Trump signed an executive order against the resale of tickets and speculation in the price of concerts, during an event in which he was accompanied by singer Kid Rock.
The text instructs the Federal Commerce Commission to work with the Attorney General, PAM Bondi, so that the competence laws are applied properly in the concert and show industry.
It also orders Bondi and the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Besent, to ensure that entrances receipts comply with tax collection laws.
Trump signed the order in his desk in the Oval Office with Kid Rock standing next to him, dressed in a red suit and patriotic motifs of the US flag.
Lee: Swift and Beyoncé fans demand Ticketmaster for allegedly specular with prices
The singer, who supports the Republican leader for a long time, denounced that companies use bots to buy tickets massively and resell them with large benefits margins.
The Department of Justice demanded in May last year, during the administration of Joe Biden, to the company Live Nation and its ticket sales, Ticketmaster, for monopolizing the market and harming artists and consumers.
The case had a huge stir in the United States for fans complaints when acquiring Taylor Swift ‘The Eras Tour’ Tour Tour.
