“Any California school district that does not comply with our transgender people will not receive financing,” he wrote in a short message on his social Truth network.
Most of the financing of public schools comes from state and local funds. According to ED100, a specialized Californian blog, federal financing usually represents between 8 and 10% of the educational budget of that state.
One of these subsidies has already been canceled by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
As explained on Thursday to Fox News, a representative of the Administration for Children and Families, under the HHS; They have ended the subsidy for the California sex education program because the State refused to eliminate the “radical gender ideology” of its curriculum.
“California’s refusal to comply with federal law and eliminate the atrocious gender ideology of sexual education materials financed with federal funds is unacceptable,” said Andrew Gradison, interim secretary of that office.
