The president of the USA, Donald Trump, will appeal a recent judicial ruling that kept him as head of civil fraud in his company but invalidated a millionaire fine that was imposed in 2024, after a trial in New York, as his lawyers reported on Tuesday.
Last week, an appeal court invalidized the fine of 454 million dollars imposed by Judge Arthur fattening to Trump and other defendants, including his two older children, in the case for fraud in the Trump organization that promoted the New York prosecutor, Letitia James.
However, in that same appeal ruling, the magistrates panel maintained the sentence of TEORON that declared Trump and the other defendants as responsible for fraud in the company and also the precautionary measures that limit their ability to do business in the state for three years.
Trump’s lawyers today notified a court that will appeal that part of the ruling that maintains the sentence and precautionary measures, to try to also be invalidated.

The civil process began in 2023 with a surprising turn, since Judge Genoron declared Trump responsible for fraud and the other summary accused before starting the trial, in which minor charges were settled, something that was harshly criticized by them.
Trump celebrated the cancellation of the fine, which did not pay entirely, as a new “victory” on the judicial level, and took the opportunity to accuse James, Democrat and one of his greatest opponents, to launch against him a “political witch hunt”, in addition to crossing out the judge of “corrupt.”
James herself, who is being investigated by the Department of Justice, also announced that she would appeal that ruling, referring to the invalidated fine, and reiterated that her “case has merit” because the judges supported the conclusion: that “the president violated the law.”
