Ukraine said Thursday that there are no conversations planned with Russia at the Munich Security Conference that begins this Friday in that German city, after the US President Donald Trump, talking about a high -level meeting between representatives between representatives from Washington, Moscow and kyiv.

“Right now, there is nothing on the table. There are no conversations planned with the Russians in Munich, ”said Dmitró Litvin, an advisor to the Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelenski, to the Kyiv Independent newspaper and the Agency Unian.

He stressed that the Ukraine position has not changed, since the country invaded by Russia almost three years ago “must first talk to the United States” and also “Europe must be part of any serious conversation for a genuine and lasting peace.”

“Only a coordinated and unified position must be on the table for conversations with the Russians. We do not meet with the Russians at an empty table, ”he emphasized, according to the Kyiv Independent.
