Alan Glass: Surprising Find

This exhibition, perfect for the weekend, presents the works of Glass, a prominent Canadian artist and a key figure of the surrealist movement, who, residing in Mexico, found the source of both artistic and spiritual inspiration he needed.

With a career that spanned more than five decades, Glass explored the material and spiritual richness of Mexican culture, which was captured in his art. His artistic production represents a synthesis of Mexican traditions and his personal vision of them.

The exhibition extends through the Siqueiros, Camarena, Orozco and Tamayo rooms.

Queer

Recreating the vibe and aesthetics of Mexico City during the 1950s, this dramatic film by Luca Guadagnino (Call me by your name) will tell the story of American expatriate William Lee, who after several chance encounters with men, meets a young man who could end his loneliness.

Based on the novel of the same name written by William S. Burroughs, this film is one of the most likely to be included in the long-awaited awards season, as it already has a nomination for the Golden Globes. Above all, critics are applauding the performances, highlighting Daniel Craig in the lead role, the aesthetics and the romantic narrative that Guadagnino achieves.

Kraven the Hunter

Spiderman’s universe of villains could not be complete without the introduction of Kraven the Hunterbecause although he is not one of the main antagonists that could come to mind as is the case with the “Green Goblin” or “Doctor Octopus”, he is undoubtedly a character who has a fascinating story behind him and is explored precisely in this new film.

The film will tell us the origin of this vile character, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson being in charge of giving life to the feared hunter of people, who, despite fleeing from the past, will have to face it and in turn save those he loves most, although that It means following in his father’s footsteps in the underworld of the mafia.
