New York (EFE) .- The price of Texas Intermediate Petroleum (WTI) closed on Monday with a 7.2% drop to $ 68,51 a barrel, after the Iranian attack on an American base in Qatar, in retaliation for Washington’s offensive on Saturday over its nuclear facilities.
At the close of the day in the New York Mercantile Stock Exchange, WTI futures contracts for Delivery in Julio lowered $ 5.33 with respect to the closure of the previous session. Similar was the percentage of down the Brent crude, at the moment in $ 71,75 a barrel.
