The new chapters of the comedy series ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ (‘Malcolm El de Enmedio’), starring Frankie Muniz, will have the participation of Kiana Madeira, according to the specialized media Variety.
The ‘Fear Street’ star will be one of the main actresses of the series that will also feature Brya Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek, the actors who played the parents of Malcolm (Muniz), Hal and Lois, in the original 2000 version.
Disney announced that he had ordered the production of four new chapters of the popular series in December, and that they would return to the original creator, Linwood Boomer.
According to the synopsis of this new installment, Malcolm and his daughter will be involved in the family chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) “demand their presence for the party of their 40th anniversary of wedding.”
Madeira will give life to the “lovely and stubborn” Malcolm’s girlfriend named Tristán, who “is out of reach”, according to the Hollywood media.
Muniz became a children’s star thanks to his role as Malcolm and after that he starred in youth films such as ‘Agent Cody Banks’, with Hilary Duff; or ‘Big fat liar’, along with Amanda Bynes.

Although he never completely separated from acting, Muniz has dedicated his career to being a car corridor and is currently a professional Nascar pilot.
‘Malcolm in the Middle’ was transmitted by Fox from 2000 to 2006 after seven seasons. The series followed the life of a middle -class dysfunctional family that dealt with everyday life and that had a brilliant child.
Throughout the story the series won seven Emmy and obtained seven Gold Balloons nominations.
