The Venezuelan opposition party Popular Will (VP) on Tuesday supported the attack that, according to Washington, carried out United States military forces against a vessel that was operated by an organization designated as a “narco -terrorist”, in an anti -drug operation near the South American country.
Through X, the party, which is part of the greatest opposition coalition -the democratic unitary platform (Pud) -expressed its support for this action that, he said, demonstrates that the Venezuelan State “is a threat to the region and the world.”
“There will be justice. There will be freedom,” VP said on the social network, where he shared the video published by the US president, Donald Trump, who shows a boat being monitored seconds before being destroyed with a missile.
In his social truth account, Trump said Tuesday that the armed forces of his country eliminated Eleven members of the transnational criminal gang of Venezuelan origin of Aragua during a “kinetic attack” against a boat that moved drugs in the Atlantic.
The Republican said that eleven “narcoterrorist” died in the attack and that they were identified as members of the Aragua Train, an organization that was designated as a terrorist by its administration.
An hour before confirming the death of the supposed drug traffickers, the Pentagon had confirmed to Efe that the attack was made in the South of the Caribbean against a drug vessel that had left Venezuela and that it was being operated by narcoterroristas, and the same information was published in the official account of the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

The United States has deployed eight military ships with missiles and a nuclear propulsion submarine in Caribbean Sea areas close to the coast of Venezuela to, he said, fight drug trafficking that “pollute” the streets of the American country.
