Consumption and traffic on Walmart in Mexico has begun to rebound in the second quarter, said the company’s financial director on Wednesday.
“Looking towards April, we see improvements in terms of consumption … in comparable terms,” said Financial Director Paulo García to analysts in a call to review the results of the first quarter of the firm.

Garcia added that the increase led the firm to maintain its sales growth prospect for the whole year between 6% and 7%, after a weaker first quarter of what was expected.
