Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching on Wednesday and what’s on the radar for Thursday’s session. United Airlines United Airlines ‘ summer earnings and its profit outlook topped estimates. However, revenue fell short, sending shares down about 2% in after hours. While the stock has lagged the S & P 500 this year, United has been the best performer among the major airlines. Year to date, United shares are up 7%. Delta Air Lines is up about 2% in 2025. Southwest Airlines stock is about flat since the year began. American Airlines is down 28% year to date. J.B. Hunt J.B. Hunt shares are rising more than 11% in extended trading after beating earnings expectations. This is good news for investors in a stock that has fallen almost 19% this year. As it stands, J.B. Travelers Travelers is set to report earnings Thursday morning. Insurance stocks took a beating today, with Progressive and Allstate posting their worst days since early April. Travelers is on track for its worst monthly performance since December 2024. The stock closed down 2% on Wednesday. However, shares are headed for their seventh straight positive year — rising more than 120% during that stretch. Charles Schwab Charles Schwab is also scheduled to post its quarterly results before the opening bell. The stock is on track for its third straight negative month — matching a streak that ended in October 2024. Schwab shares are up 27% in 2025 — lagging behind its main competitors, Robinhood and Interactive Brokers . Keep an eye on Interactive Brokers — it reports earnings after the bell tomorrow. Interactive Brokers shares have climbed 58% year to date. Robinhood shares are up 260% in 2025. Taiwan Semi Taiwan Semiconductor is scheduled to report earnings tomorrow morning. “Mad Money’s” Jim Cramer said he expects largely positive figures from the company, which manufactures chips for industry leaders Nvidia and AMD . Taiwan Semiconductor has climbed 54% this year — outperforming Nvidia and Broadcom . TSM YTD mountain Taiwan Semiconductor shares year to date.
